Exploring the Vulcan's finest details
Aston Martin release spectacular video of Highlands Vulcan
If Driven's shaky, vertigo-inducing, mobile-phone footage from on-board Tony Quinn's new Aston Martin Vulcan wasn't quite enough for you, then maybe this will be more your style — Highlands Motorsport Park and Aston Martin's own mega-cut of the Vulcan's on-track (and off-track) action.
For a while there, it was impossible to get away from the Vulcan's colossal wave of media attention, where everyone — including ourselves — couldn't get enough of it.
I'd normally at this point take the opportunity to proudly don my cynics hat and wax lyrical negatively about why we should be reporting about bigger and better things.
But I won't because, simply, the Vulcan is that bigger and better thing. Few cars in New Zealand will match it for sound, for pace, and for price. And up close it is a truly special thing to behold — a message conveyed wonderfully in the clip above.
