Ben Affleck is tooling around town in a new muscle car following the announcement of his split from Jennifer Garner.
The Batman V Superman star is the proud owner of a limited edition 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat.
According to TMZ, only 2,000 have been manufactured and the average price for one is $US90,000.
His new toy has a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 engine, 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
The gossip website claimed Tuesday Affleck, 42, bought the car over the phone.
It's presumably a little gift to himself as he deals with the fall-out of his failed marriage and the scrutiny it's generated.
With his estranged wife and three children in Atlanta, Georgia, where Garner, 43, is filming her new movie, Affleck took the family dog with him to the office Tuesday morning.
The Oscar winner - who wasn't wearing his wedding ring - let the German Shepherd out of the car and strolled to his office with the dog following him off the leash and with tail wagging.
The actor and director was getting back to his regular routine following his star turn at Comic-Con in San Diego promoting Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice alongside Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill and co-stars Gal Gadot and Amy Adams.
Affleck appeared relaxed during the Q&A as he talked about taking on the role of Batman revealing that he was nervous about playing the iconic character.
'If I had thought too hard about the actors who had played this part before, I couldn't have taken the job,' he told fans. 'I talked to Zack [Snyder] about it, I was like, "Are you sure?" And he was like, "I have this vision and this idea for the guy and you're perfect for it."'
'I said, "Well, what do you mean?" And he said, "He's at the end of his rope, he's older, burning out."'
Meanwhile, Jen, 43, was seen wearing her wedding ring while filming Miracles From Heaven in Atlanta on Saturday.
Just one day after their ten year wedding anniversary, Jen and Ben made their split known to the public with an official joint statement.
The couple met as co-stars in 2001's Pearl Harbor, then fell in love on the set of the 2003 film Daredevil, in which they also played on-screen love interests.
