Anthony Joshua was definitely driving in style to his boxing showdown with Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
That's because the IBF Heavyweight World Champion has just taken delivery of a bespoke Range Rover lavished with personalised touches - it even has a hand-crafted drawer in the boot to keep his belts in.
The car has been created by Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations department and has been been sprayed in a unique paint that's dedicated to the Olympic gold-medal winner.
Joshua made requests for his new high-performance 4X4 during a visit to Jaguar Land Rover's design department in Warwickshire earlier this year.
It debuts SVO's 'Design Pack' for the car, which features new front and rear bumpers – the latter incorporating integrated quad tailpipes – new side vents, side sills and a bespoke grille.
A standard Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic costs £133,680 (NZ$252,000), so expect this one-of-a-kind model to easily surpass the £150,000 (NZ$283,000) mark.
That's because there are further additions to the car that have been created to cater to the requirements of one of the most feared fighters on the planet - you wouldn't tell him no, would you?
This includes unique boxing-glove pattern surrounds on the door handles and Joshua's own signature etched into the seats, treadplate and chrome B-pillars.
There's also a luxurious leather sports-equipment storage unit in the boot ideal for transporting his IBF - and if he wins on Saturday the WBA 'Super' - belt.
And even the paint is a one off - Land Rover has dubbed it 'World Champion Graphite' in homage to the 27-year-old from Watford.
Speaking ahead of the heavyweight clash at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, Joshua said: 'I spend a lot of time on the road travelling to Sheffield during my training camps so I am incredibly grateful to Land Rover and the SVO team for their assistance.
'The Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic is the pinnacle of luxury and performance and it has been a pleasure to partner with the SVO team to create a version unique to my tastes.
'I had a fantastic experience in specifying this Range Rover, and the level of design detail in the finished vehicle is stunning, from the boxing glove emblems in the door handles to the custom storage unit for my training equipment.'
Jaguar Land Rover SVO head of special projects, David Fairbairn, responded: 'It was a pleasure to welcome Anthony Joshua to the SVO Technical Centre and we are pleased to name him among our clients. He is extremely popular among our employees and we wish him well this weekend.'
Of course, there had to be a comparison cast between the vehicle and the 6ft6 heavy-hitter.
Fairbairn added: 'The performance and features of the Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic espouse the attributes of an elite athlete like Anthony Joshua: distinctive style, powerful at heart and a jaw-dropping combination of performance and capability.'
The SVO department offers the same service to members of the public buying their cars - if you're willing to pay extra for it, they can add personalised touches to your Jaguar or Land Rover on request.
During a fairly frank interview with Autocar last month, Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s design director, said the British manufacturer's customising team would put third-party styling houses and tuners - like Overfinch and Kahn Designs - out of business.
McGovern said: 'It’s easy to take a product that’s already been created and put a little spoiler on it or whatever, but I’d like to see them design their own car. We see them taking our property and making a bit more profit.
'Well, we’re going to put them out of business through SVO. The opportunities we’re creating there, and the quality of our work, are much better.'
