A record-breaking 2015 for Mazda NZ
Japanese marque sell over 10,000 cars in a year for the first time
For the first time in its history Mazda New Zealand has sold over 10,000 vehicles in a single calendar year.
The 10,078 vehicles sold resulted in an 8 percent market share and saw the company finish in 3rd place for passenger sales and 4th in overall sales in 2015.
The company also achieved its best December on record with 685 vehicles sold resulting in YOY growth of 8.7 percent. Incredibly this extends Mazda’s record retail performance to 23 consecutive months and an outstanding 31 consecutive months of YOY growth.
Andrew Clearwater, Managing Director Mazda New Zealand says 2015 was a highly successful year and one that the company is very proud of.
“Having a great line up of vehicles means we appeal to a wide range of the motoring buying public. When you add in the hard work of the Mazda team and dealerships across the country it has resulted in a winning combination which helped us to deliver our best year ever.”
“It provides an amazing end to 2015, on top of the 20 plus major automotive awards received through the year and widespread success across the dealer network, with a number achieving record sales results.”
