Mercedes-Benz New Zealand Ltd has been critically acclaimed by The National Business Review, and awarded the 2014 Luxury Car of the Year for the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
The National Business Review’s motoring writer, David Linklater, said that the new C-Class “. . . has made a staggering leap forward: it presents as a baby S-Class from the outside and that’s also the impression you get on the inside. It looks and feels truly special. It’s a car that competes in the compact-executive market but eschews some of that segment’s focus on sportiness to embrace a luxury-car ethos.”
General Manager, Mercedes-Benz Cars New Zealand Ltd, Mr. Ben Giffin, said “Mercedes-Benz is extremely proud to have been awarded the National Business Review’s 2014 Luxury Car of the Year for the all-new C-Class. We believe that the all-new C-Class has revolutionised the mid sized luxury segment, delivering outstanding quality, a high level of standard equipment and exceptional value for our customers.
We are delighted to have received this highly sought after, independent recognition during such an exceptional year for our brand in New Zealand.”
The all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class range delivers a sensuous, clear design and sporty interior with high-class appeal. The entry level C 200 models offer a host of technological innovations, including extensive safety features such as Blind Spot Assist and Collision Prevention Assist PLUS, LED headlamps, fuel efficiency benchmarks and lively performance. The new C 250 and C 300 BlueTEC HYBRID models further enhance the level of standard equipment with the full Driver Assistance Package PLUS package including Steer Assist and leather upholstery.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is now on sale to customers in New Zealand.
