This morning's Bank of America Roval 400 was been a bit of a doozy.
It was NASCAR's first hit out at Charlotte's 'roval' infield course, and plenty of people knew chaos was coming.
The race itself was largely crash free, despite concerns (hopes?) from NASCAR faithful that it would be a total catastrophe. No, the series saved it until the last 10 laps to go well and truly heywire.
First was the above wreck; coming off the back of a safety car for the spun car of Ricky Stenhouse. With the field on cold tyres, the two race-dominating drivers at the front — Kyle Larson and Brad Keslowski — well and truly missed their brake marker, steamrolling into the wall as a result
Numerous other cars were dragged into the chaos, including Kyle Busch, Aric Almirola, and Paul Menard.
The most priceless quote came from Kyle Busch.
