Do you find it difficult to ignore your mobile phone while driving?
That's just one of the questions in a new NZ Transport Agency poll of drivers' mobile habits.
The poll comes a week after British Formula One star Lewis Hamilton was investigated by police for his apparent use of a cellphone while speeding down an Auckland motorway on a motorbike.
Mr Hamilton filmed a short Snapchat video last Tuesday, showing himself on a Harley Davidson, cruising down the motorway.
Police dropped the investigation, saying there was not enough evidence to show he had actually been holding the cellphone at the time.
Meanwhile, a recent Canstar Blue mobile phone use survey found nearly half of New Zealanders can't function without their phones.
Of the 2000 Kiwis surveyed, a third said they thought using mobile phones while driving was safe.
