UK's 'perfect car' is the Frankenstein monster of SUVs
Search Driven for vehicles for sale
What would your ideal car look like? Well, Britain has already had its say and this is the dream vehicle it has created.
Like a four-wheeled Frankenstein's monster, it is a mash-up of different parts from car manufacturers from around the world.
It takes influences not just from premium brands like Lamborghini and Bentley but even from practical family-car favourites like Honda and Hyundai.
The question is whether this king of the parts bin is really prettier than the five real-world cars that we love, which have the advantage of a coherent design and already being on sale today?
The dream car concoction was created by used car buying site webuyanycar.com, who asked 2,300 people to pick their perfect bits of motors.
Drivers were asked to choose their favourite parts of existing cars, from the badge, to the headlights and bonnet.
The most popular choices were selected and morphed into one image of Britons' ideal vehicle.
And it appears that while many adore the looks of supercars, their ideal daily car is far more practical.
That might explain why this looks like a race-ready SUV, with sporty features bolted to a high-riding family-sized vehicle.
The main body of the car is based on the forthcoming Lamborghini Urus - the Italian supercar-maker's SUV that isn't being revealed in production specification until December.
Elsewhere, the grille is taken from Alfa Romeo's recent Giulia family saloon while the alloy wheels are nabbed from Honda's Civic Type R hot hatch.
The survey also found the perfect colour is electric blue.
Richard Evans, head of technical services at webuyanycar.com, said: 'Everyone has a picture in their head of their 'perfect car' and it's great to finally see for real what Brits genuinely dream about driving.
'We did expect two-seaters, convertibles and high-speed cars to prove more popular, so it was a surprise that larger shapes and more conventional features tended to top the poll.
'The final concept definitely still has a certain sporty edge though.'
The edge comes from additions such as the Audi R8 doors and Lamborghini Gallardo rear spoiler.
However, it's not all about performance.
The ideal badge is Bentley, suggesting many like the kudos of a premium machine, and oddly the exhaust pipes aren't taken from an Aston Martin or Ferrari but from the modest Hyundai i30 family hatchback.
