A dramatic turn of events has seen Kiwi Hayden Paddon take the lead on the penultimate day of the WRC's Rally of Argentina.
Paddon won two stages early in the day and was in second place, creeping up on leader Jari-Matti Latvala.
However, Latvala has crashed on the second to last stage of the day, which has moved Paddon moved to the lead, and he holds almost a 30 second buffer over the rest of his competitors.
Latvala is reported to be OK after the crash, but has retired from the rally.
Paddon's nearest rival in second place is three-time world champion Sebastien Ogier, with three final stages to be raced tomorrow.
