More unconfirmed images of Aston's new DB11 published amid Geneva launch
New images published online are reportedly of Aston Martin's new DB11.
The images, first posted on Carscoops, are uncredited and unconfirmed, but look highly convincing. They also match another leaked image of the DB11 posted earlier this month.

The DB11 is the successor to the marque's long-serving DB9 platform, and these images could confirm a potential styling shift for Aston's 'DB' production cars.
While the front is still unmistakably Aston Martin, everything has changed at the rear, with styling cues lifted from the DB10 — the Aston Martin concept that recently featured in the latest James Bond film; Spectre.

The DB11 takes on taillights similar to those on the highly-limited One-77. Its license plate shifts to the bottom of its imposing diffuser, allowing for a much more simple and elegant back end — a subtle duck-tail spoiler sprouting from between the tail lights completes the look.
The manufacturer have already confirmed that the DB11 will be powered by an all-new 5.2-litre V12 twin-turbo engine — a departure from the naturally aspirated V12 in the outgoing DB9.

The original DB9 was launched in 2003 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, eventually making its debut the following year in 2004. The DB9's 13-year tenure as a savior for Aston Martin eclipses the 10-year period of production of the DB7 it replaced.
