Hyundai has announced it will unveil its fourth-generation Santa Fe SUV in February, ahead of a public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in early March.
Ahead of its planed debuts Hyundai has released a single teaser image giving the first glimpse of the new SUV.
The long wheelbase, large doors and high roof line all suggest a 7-seat, family-focused variant of the new Santa Fe will remain in the lineup.
Apart from the sole teaser, Hyundai haven't confirmed much about the new Santa Fe's specification or launch details.
However, one thing they will share ahead is confirmation of a 'comprehensive package' fearing at least two of the automaker's latest active safety features.
The new Santa Fe will be equipped with an industry-first Rear Occupant Alert which monitors the rear seats to detect passengers and alerts the driver when leaving the car, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning is now enhanced by an automated braking function.
To avoid the risk of collision when reversing out of narrow areas with poor visibility, the Cross-Traffic Collision system warns the driver of approaching cars and applies the brakes automatically.
Launched in 2001, the Hyundai Santa Fe has gone on to become one of the Korean marques best selling nameplates. In 2017, 1662 brand new Santa Fes were registered in New Zealand.
