Watch: How an iconic RWB Porsche came together in NZ

If you're on Instagram, YouTube, or any form of social media, you'll probably be familiar with the work of Akira Nakai and the iconic Porsche sub-culture that is RWB.
In a mix of Japanese style mixed with German engineering, Nakai travels the world chopping up old 911s, only install big fender flares, big wheels, and drop them to the ground with minimal wheel gap. AKA a purist's worst nightmare, but here at Driven, we love them.
Late last year, Nakai returned to little old New Zealand, to build another 911 for a special client in Hamilton. Unlike other NZ builds, The Bling Company opened its doors to the public, and invited fans to watch the fascinating process.
Dubbed 'Asher' by Nakai, this is the third RWB Porsche in New Zealand, and Nan Su's second.
While most are finished in some sort of RWB livery, a simple cream colour scheme was chosen for this one, which matches the understated wheels perfectly.
