The new 2016 Mitsubishi Challenger SUV has been previewed once again, ahead of a Bangkok unveiling set for August 1.
Of course, earlier leaks and spy photos of the new seven-seat off-roader mean that not only is the cat out of the bag, it’s been knocking breakables off the coffee table for weeks now.
Still, while those patent application images and grainy spy photos reveal just about all there is to see on the outside, this latest video offers a polished – if predictably shadowy – look at the new Challenger.
In this clip, the new Triton-based SUV’s upper half is on show, revealing again the tall glasshouse and sharply tapered belt line, along with its Outlander-styled face and descending LED tail-lamp design.
The new model’s interior remains the biggest secret, but we can likely expect the cabin to feature higher quality materials than the outgoing model, in order to remain competitive against the latest generation of ute-based SUVs like the Ford Everest.
