Lexus is the highest-ranked nameplate for customer satisfaction for a second consecutive year.

Lexus has been top in 14 of the 23 J.D. Power and Associates' initial quality study (IQS) surveys since its first models were launched.

The IQS is an influential industry benchmark. This year it was based on the response of more than 74,000 American buyers and lessees of new vehicles after 90 days of ownership.

Lexus also won three of the segment awards. Two were for vehicles available in New Zealand: the LS, which won for the fifth year in a row, and RX.

Lexus New Zealand manager, Debbie Pattullo said the accolade was icing on the cake of an exciting period for the luxury marque in New Zealand.

"New Zealand customers can be assured that Lexus constantly challenges itself to improve vehicle quality and customer service globally, raising the bar each year," he said. "That is what helps us stay ahead of competitors."
