The Nissan Juke R 2.0 has been unveiled just ahead of this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Under the bonnet, the Juke R 2.0 features the same 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine as the GT-R Nismo, the most powerful model in the supercar’s range. This means that the updated Juke-R has 441kW of power and 652Nm of torque at its disposal.
Although Nissan hasn’t specifically mentioned it, we believe that all of that fury is delivered to the ground via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and the GT-R’s all-wheel drive system.
The company has yet to quote any performance figures for the updated Juke R. The original Juke R had 404kW/628Nm, and was capable of 0-100km/h in 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 275km/h.
Up front, the Juke R 2.0 sports a revised fascia that’s constructed out of carbonfibre with squarer styling details and 100 percent larger ducts to improve cooling.
Along the side the wheel arch flares have been revised and now flow more smoothly into the car’s sills; both are constructed out of carbonfibre. The hot SUV rides on Bridgestone Potenza RE070R tyres and 20-inch rims from the latest GT-R range.
The rear bumper and rear diffuser are now also made out of carbonfibre, while the exhaust cowlings are fashioned from high temperature carbon.
The Juke R 2.0’s other updates are mostly centred adopting elements from the regular Juke‘s recent facelift. These include the headlights, tail-lights, front fenders and bonnet.

Nissan has made no mention, at this stage, about the Juke R 2.0’s price, nor how many it intends to produce this time around.
